Spring Break: Museum of Discovery

We went downtown with Preston and RJ to visit the Museum of Discovery. We'd planned to watch a play about piggies; however, as entertaining as the actors were, the museum itself was a much stronger draw than the play.

We also saw some of Gabi's other friends at the museum.

Kathryn (from dance class and church) and Veda (from school)

(He and Bella both tested every toy in the small children's exhibit.)

RJ spent almost the entire morning in the train room

We walked down the street to find a pizza place for lunch, since margherita pizza was a good Lenten Friday food option.

I can no longer keep track of all the words Bella knows;
"pizza" is but one

Gabi and RJ played with the billiards table after lunch

The kids didn't want to leave, so we had to tell them we were going to see the eagle statue to entice them outside and convince them to head towards the parking lot.

Walking back to the car

Enjoying the scenery along the sidewalk

"Bummy!" "Eyes!"
(Bella has started to say "eye" instead of her previous word "li")

Stopping to smell the flowers

Bella preferred the grass to the sidewalk
