Red Ribbon Week

The Anthony School student council declared last week to be Red Ribbon Week, and they designated a theme for each day. The kids loved dressing up at school. Ms. Laura emailed these cute pictures to all the parents.

Pajama Day
Gabi was very excited about wearing her pajamas to school. She didn't want to get out of bed until I told her it was Pajama Day, and then she bounded right up. When I picked her up at 11:30, the first thing she said to me was, "Why didn't we sleep at school?"

Sports Day
I was most excited about Sports Day of all the theme days because I could dress Gabi in her new Notre Dame jersey that we bought during our recent trip to ND.

School Spirit
On Wednesday, the kids all wore Anthony School colors: red, black, and white.

Thursday, the kids were all in red, white, and blue for the USA.

Halloween
Of course, Friday was Halloween. The kids even went trick-or-treating in the gym, where the big kids handed out candy.

Neighborhood Halloween Party
A neighbor took some pictures of us at the neighborhood Halloween party and just emailed them to me, so I'll add them here since they didn't make it on the Halloween post. At the party, as Gabi was making friends with the neighbor children, she introduced herself as Cinderella and her little sister as Belle. The other children did the same. Sleeping Beauty's mother asked what Gabi's name was, and she repeated "Cinderella." Gabi still wants to be called Cinderella, and she likes talking to her baby sister "Belle."
