Thanksgiving

Gabi helped me bake sweet potatoes, a cherry pie, a pumpkin pie, and whipped cream for our Thanksgiving meal. She most enjoyed stirring the ingredients, but rolling out the pie crusts was fun, too. The Tims invited us to their house and provided the rest of the yummy dinner, which was greatly appreciated.

Gabi quickly became attached to Peggy and followed her around closely. Peggy played with Gabi for quite awhile while the guys watched football. We enjoyed seeing Gabi interact so enthusiastically with someone new, since she is usually so shy outside our house. It was a nice break for Mommy, too.

Last Fall, Gabi learned the official signal for "touchdown!" This year, she decided that it doesn't make sense. Now when our football team scores, she throws her arms up and yells "touch up!" and then bends over to hit the floor and yells "touch down!" Two-year-olds are very logical (and literal).

Thanksgiving morning, after their baths, I dressed the girls in their Christmas outfits and took some pictures for Lolo and Lola to use in their Christmas letter. I didn't catch them smiling at the same time, but they are both pretty, anyway.
